Regional Connect was established to provide businesses in regional Australia with access to competitive rail transport services and on-rail business park options, for both domestic and import/export freight.

Since 2009 it has operated from Ettamogah Rail Hub on the northern outskirts of Albury.  It also has a number of other sites selected in regional Australia where is plans to develop and operate rail terminals and on-rail business parks, and is actively working with a number of organisations to deliver these services.
